Plugs in an S4

Putting an S4 engine in my first gen and I like be using the old ignition system. I have run this elsewhere and still have not gotten a clear answer. I am going to buy plugs for it and I am wondering if I should use the second gen Hei system plugs or the same plugs I have been using?

I don't know s*** about hybrid type setups like this, but if I were doing this, I'd run with the plugs that go with whatever ignition system you're using, unless there is a physical size difference that might cause interference.

Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer. good luck

Run BUR9EQ14's all around. Or you can run the platinum version of these plugs. I use them on both my stock 12A in my '83 with a header, and in my brother's '79 streetported 13B turbo. They work great!!

Hello folks,
Most of the folks have spoken with (as well as a guy from Mazdatrix who has the same setup) tend to agree buy plugs that match the ignition system.
Thanks
