Oil n stuff

What oil would you guys reccomend me running in my Renesis? I do a decent amount of track stuff and would like to hear your reccomendations. Also maybe oil filter recommendation, right now I'm running a Purolator filter and Castrol GTX 5w30 oil.

I did search and didnt find anything of use.

Never, ever, put a Fram on it.

Don't know anything about the Renesis', so I can't recommend oil. I run Mobil1 (red or gold cap) in all my 12A's, and use Lucas semi-synthetic for premix.

I dont run premix, but is synthetic something that would be worth running? I would assume it would like the same type of oil as a 12a or 13b n/a

Renesisfury,

Look on the RX8Forums for the DPE guys and ask them. They are doing some testing with various oils on one of their RX-8's and should have some decent data soon (as well as testing out the RX-8 Greddy Turbo kit in road racing use).
