NJMP Lightning on May 29-30 HPDE/TT/Racing w/ NASA

Anyone planning on running this event? This is a race weekend as well so there will be Time Trial Racing & Wheel to Wheel action in addition to HPDE. I will be running the time trials. Check out www.nasa-tt.com/northeast for info. Hope to see some new time trial drivers with RX7's out there. We are dominated by Evos for now...

That is the group I run with even though I only made it twice last year. I will be there Sat and Sun with my turbo FB. What are you driving? Help me choose some tires.

I'm not sure which car I'm bringing yet. If my single for the FD goes in without a hitch then I would like to give it a try. Otherwise I'll be there with my sti.

As for tires, are you looiking for a track only set? Or something for street and track?

Track tires only.

Here is my post looking for suggestions:
https://www.rx7club.com/race-car-tech-103/help-choosing-race-tires-902637/

Last year I ran the R888, but since I have to buy new race wheels, I wanted to get some other opinions.

You post said that we need more rotary representation, then you bring an sti? Get that FD going! My race number is 84 for my model year. I'm currently only in HPDE II, but we all have to start somewhere.

Also, I need to get my number on magnetic vinal along with my logo. Do you have any place you recommend?

Just a note, PDA and NASA Northeast are merged at this time. It's all the same. Eventually they will only be operating the NASANE.com website.

For magnets, I recommend izoom graphics here http://www.izoomgraphics.com/

I will do my best to have the FD ready... Promise.

Nice! I'm checking out that site right now. This year will be the first time with a full T04 (last year I had a BNR stage 4), so we will see how manageable this thing is. I'm trying to get people from work so show up (no rotaries) but I think they are all dead beats.

I know that feeling. I always ask my friends to come out. They like cars and say OK, but never show. Bunch of dead beats is right.

I was thinking of doing the comp school and my first actual race but I don't think the motor for my race car will be ready in time.
