Supposed to be ready in 2012. Still a long way away, but it's set to be awesome when it's ready.

Looks to be about 95 miles from my parent's place in Morristown. NJMSP is 140 miles by comparison, so it'll be a bit closer.

thanks for sharing!

Like a half hour from my Mother in Law. I guess it would be too transparent if I started visiting all the time.

Nice! There seems to have been a lot of new tracks in development lately. NJMP, a new one being built in MD, and towards the tail end of last year I heard a credible rumor of a new track being scoped out in VA. Good to have options!

Unfortunately, it always seems like 90% of these places make announcements about Big Plans but the track never gets built. The one down here in Concord, right of I-85 (<2hr drive for me) got as far as clearing land and selling condos before they folded.

Maybe some of these other places wil have better luck, but call me skeptical.

True. I would not believe it until I see pavement. The new one in NH has been in a battle for years. We will see.

In central MA, Palmer, the guys fromm scca have purchased land and have been givin all approvals for a track, I am not sure if they have begun clearing land?

I have no idea if they have started clearing either.
