The race starts under caution because of the rain and standing water. Blergh.

Even in the rain the front end of the Camaro's just pops up under acceleration... Torque the rotary is missing... Hopefully we got full green shortly.

Hey, off topic question. I am going to start getting into tracking my car more this year. I currently have the R1Concepts drilled/slotted rotors. Am I okay to run on these and just throw in good pads? Or should I change them out for blanks?

My experience level is being on a track once behind a pace car.

Quality blanks, cross drilled are nonsense unless their on the rear of a FWD car. Green any time now.

Lapping will eat rotors at a pace of 3-4 days, seriously.
Racing destroys rotors, you'll go through a set on one weekend (practice, qualy, and the race/s)

Source Mazda OEM blanks from a dealership that offers a discount to clubs.

RX8's currently in 4th, 6th and 8. Seem to be handling like *** in the rain which you'd think would be more difficult for the big CC cars.

You would think, I wonder if the straights is where the big cc cars have the advantage.

+1 on the ugly DPs. Its like they let Acura's design team design a race car.

OEM's cheaper and at the rate you'll eat them you'll appreciate the lower cost.

Its a shame the daytonas are so butt. Not like its that hard to design a good looking racecar, all the lmps look 10 x better.

Anyone who's gone to slicks is still gambling. In ten mins. though everyone will be on slicks, and thankfully they're not calling for anymore rain.
