The IDA is what all the fast 12a guys are running. Do you have the 38mm venturies? I'm still having issues with my DCO. The name Daryl Drummond keeps coming up in that he tweeks these carbs for the most power. I don't have any info on him or what he offers. I'm going to look into it when I get an IDA.

Hey, don't make this car too pretty. Plan on replacing fenders, your's are too dam nice molded into the body and all.

Drummond builds some of the most competitive rotary race motors in the country. A lot of GT guys seem to use his motors which means he probably specializes in Bridges and Peripherals.

Have you test fitted your hood yet BMS? With my IDAs and the softmount spacers between the carb and the manifold there is just barely enough space for the shortest filter unit that K&N makes that will still leave enough clear air above the short air horns on the carb. Even when I do my ducted air box, I think I'm going to want to keep the filter height, and it sometimes barely touches the underside of the hood under deflection.

I was talking to someone who had a weird high speed engine cutout. Couldn't figure out what they problem was until he noticed that the air pressure at high speeds was causing the hood to flex inward and seal off the velocity stacks!

Looks great!

Man - I know how hard it is to get the door gaps looking good when you first fit the 'glas - nice job. It's almost too pretty to go racing!

I'm still choking on the fiberglass. theres a slew of tiny imperfections, but a few well placed stickers will take care of that

I'm so happy this is all coming together it sat as a bare shell for so long, it didnt seem possible. in the last week we've spent about 30 hours a piece on it. getting everything to where it is.

phew.

Thanks to everyone for all the good words.

Boswoj, thanks for the heads up. IT is close like you say but I think we'll be alright. what mani do you have? I know the mazdatrix and RB ones are different. Also if you know what stacks come on the standard weber as configured by weber that'd be great too. Also where you got the short ones.
