My bet say's........ He will attempt to drift on a highway on ramp, over-correct and smash right into a cop sitting in the medion, the car will be toast and he will unfortunitly not make it to work on time the next few year's.
Besides they dont have trees in kansas, he will have to practice drift in the wheat fields first, then he would find the only tree in the hole state and wrap his car around it.
I give it 2 months and the car will be totaled, impounded, or sold.
Not to be offensive but DONT BE STUPID LEAVE THE RACING AT THE TRACKS!!!!! ONLY IDIOTS AND DRUGYS STREET RACE, IN THE END NOBODY WIN'S.

Like the other guys says keep it on the tracks.
www.driftday.com
Upgrades for drifting:
Start out with suspention and brakes. Way more important than power for dirfters. Coilovers for suspention if you can afford it. if not some adjustable shocks and racing springs. I dont know too much about FCs so I would get a Break upgrade kit form RX7.com or talk to other people on the forum and see what they got and how happy they are with what they have. Also an LSD if you dont already have one in your car. Drifting is more about how you contol your car rather than mashing on the gas.
If by street you mean drag and by racing you mean at a 1/4 mile track:
the usual Intake and exaust for cheep power. If you wanted to go crazy and build a race motor you could get your exaust ports done but it will set you back alot of cash. you should probly upgrade your raidator in this proscess to keep your motor well cooled.
The best way to save money is to do it your self. Have some forum members help you if you dont know what you are doing.
Good luck,
