Nasa TT
I know there are some VERY good TT drivers in this forum, I was wanting to pick your brain on how much track/instruction time I would need to be midpack for starters in TT with my RX8. I have no problem doing suspension mods, which I assume would be needed anyhow. Just would like to hear everyones 2 cents

It really depends on you, and the quality of the instruction you receive. TT is basicly group 4 drivers who want to run at race speeds with reduced risk of damage to their vehicals. You really just need to start getting seat time. Mods are not really neccesary since TT is indexed for a cars performance potential. That said, a set of RA1 tires on a spare set of rims, and Motul 5.1 brake fluid, and Carbotech XP9 pads would be my first investements once I knew I was going to follow through. Some may disagree, but tracking on most street tires will get old very quickly. I also think it is safer. As far as other mods, that's up to you, but until you drive the stock vehical at the limit, you will not know what you will want to do first. Carl
