NASA @ Willowsprings.

It was a little hot this weekend. 104 deg. So I was doing more work on the cooling system. Taping up all the gaps between the shroud and radiator. It was good for 10 deg.

On Sunday I could almost run 10/10s
I was having fun with Robert Davis in his RX8.

Thumbs up

Nice! Did you lower the tire pressures for this race or was it after this race you were talking with the Hankook folks? The car seemed, at least from the video, to be more planted than your previous race.

It was a while ago. like last year. Only difference in my car from last race was dialing in the new shocks a bit more and I wasn't going as fast as I should have been. Temps were high. running 200deg water temp. So I was trying not to go over 7k rpm. Backing out on T2, T8 and into T9. Not down shifting in T3. So I was 2sec off my normal pace.
I should post the fist few laps too. they were fun, but I wanted to keep it short.

Gotcha. I assumed based on your post that your conversation with Hankook was recent.

Not sure why you would think that. But I am only 2hp off my cap of 140hp. So not sure that would help.
But then again. It was 107 deg so I may not be getting all the hp I normally do.
