Momo Start or Buddyclub seats

The Momo Start and Buddy club are two different kinds of seats (bottom-mount steel tube frame, and side-mount composite).
If you're talking about the base brackets, that would depend on what kind of sliders (if any) that you're using...
if you're talking about a bracket/slider/mount combination then it would only fit either one of the types of seats.

Ive heard nothing but bad things about the momo start. a buddy might have two for sale if your interested. He told me this week he was changing them out for something else in his miata. Either way I wouldnt reccomend a tube frame seat in a racecar (crap, or a streetcar for that matter).

Cool Thx for the warning. I have the CR-1's in my other 7. Thinking about just going with them for my track 7. I am afraid I may put on some weight one day and the BuddyClub will be to small.

Corbeau CR-1's with the Corbeau bracket.
Fit nicely. Bit of a rub from the wing but nothing that cannot be lived with. Its very minor.

But it's not going to give you any extra headroom, if that's what you're looking for...
Of course, a fiberglass seat doesn't really guarantee, either.

However, unless the seat is mounted higher in a 3rd Gen, I can't see how it wouldn't give a little more room given the thinness of the base:

Guys, I have contacted www.safedrives.com about the Momo start seats. If you do a google search for "Momo start," you will find that safedrives.com has the best, if not close to the best price. Currently, they are a sponsor on the honda-tech forums.
I have spoken to Spencer and he has agreed to give us free shipping and a package deal for seats + rails (and harnesses). He is also considering further discounts should more than 5 pairs of seats be ordered. Before I PM an admin about setting up a groupbuy, I would like to gather some interest. I will mirror a thread in the Group Buy Interest section as well.
Details of the seats can be found here:
http://www.safedrives.com/proddetail...art1092&cat=85
And a sizing chart in PDF:

I can safely vouch for the combo of Bride Zeta III and FC. It fits fantastically, nothing hits anything. Works well with the bride fg rail.

I wouldnt reccomend buying these just because they are Momo and have that pimp quality for the price. Just dont understand why anyone would want a frame seat in a sportscar....wind up with the frames jabbing you in the ribs through the padding, and they are monstorous in size.

RxBen/Bnjmn is local to me... he has a momo start in his widebody ls1 fc and the seat is really nice, FIA certified and stiff as hell. I've had recaro srd, sparco ultra and sat in a dozen other seats at various trackdays and have to say that the momo start is a wonderful seat for the price and since most people ask, YES it can be mounted really really low. I like the momo start and would buy one if I had to buy another driver seat for street/trackday/autox.

I believe Sparco rails will work. In any case, I think I'll just avoid all the hassle of setting up a GB. I'll buy the seats myself, make them fit, report back and THEN if you guys want, you can start your own GB.

ok sorry guys, I guess I was thinking of the wrong model then. My friends seat is the Momo tube frame. Please disregard my previous rants about this
Just for inputs sake, I have a MOMO Nascar CF/Kevlar, and a Corbeau Fiberglass in my car, and the difference in quality is night and day. The Momo fits like a glove, and the quality is great.
