Mods for this forum?

What is necessary to become a mod? I'd be interested in checking it out, and looking into becoming one, just have no idea how to do it, or what exactly is the full responsibilities

they are all gonna laugh at you!

In all honesty, I don't think the mods are very accepting of suggestions or the opinions of others.

that's just what I've gathered in the almost two years I've been here.

Sometimes moderators can nominate a forum member to become a moderator. The mods then vote on that member in the mod forum.

Sometimes an administrator can appoint a forum member to become a moderator without much input from the mods...of course the forum member can either accept or reject the appointment to moderator...

As a mod you're responsible for monitoring your board, which you must visit at least weekly to see how things are going in your forum. Some forums are very busy and require multiple moderators, such as the 3rd gen forum.

Lucky for me the suspension/wheel/tire/brake forum has been quite manageable, and I've only activated my "Wonder-Twin powers" a couple of times

You confuse me. What was I suggesting? I was just asking what it takes to become a mod, and letting them know I'll volunteer for this forum (if someone nominates me). I'm on this forum about daily, usually 2 or 3 times in a day. I race an '80 RX-7 in the SCCA ITR class (a subset of ITA). I've been around here for about a year and a half, um.. yadda yadda yadda.. not sure what else to say.
