Ever heard of a Lenco?

Lenco transmission are clutchless. They soak up about 20 horsepower, though. But don't count on ever breaking one.

A Lenco is WAY overkill and I am sure he would rather not have 4 levers sticking up through the center of his transmission tunnel.

A G-Force T-5 will be all that is required. You can have one built with straight gears and dog ring engagement. They are used in NMRA Mustangs running low 9s and weighing 3300-3400 pounds.
