FC weights (stock, street prepared, etc)
Hello all,
I've seen a lot of different stock vehicle weights on the FC's, wondering what you guys have found mostly stock FC's to weigh in Solo Stock trim....and if anyone is running CSP how low did they get.
My '89 GTUs weighs in at 2721lbs with a full tank of gas, spare/jack still back there, stock battery, with A/C (but no sunroof/hatch wiper, crank windows, aluminum hood)....basically in as-delivered showroom condition. We have seen later GXL's weigh upwards of 2900lbs even after being modified.
I'm not sure how light we can get the car, but the plan is to run the new Street Touring S - 2 class next year....I kind of hoped to keep it E Stock after seeing how well the Fordahls did in their 944 last year, but the decision is not up to me.
Any info would be a great help, pics to follow (have been busy!).
