Would the Kumho V700 265/45/16 and Hossiers 275/45/16 be good for autocross.
Application would be on FD with stock wheels?

 

holy ****! your gonna try to put 275's on a 8 inch rim??? your gonna be squeesing the crap out of those tires. also, the sidewalls won't beable to support the tires. Then again, i have seen 195's streched on a 10-11 inch rim so i guess anything is possible.

also, you should realise a 225 will do better then a 275 if the tire compound and thread pattern is better (thread pattern being more for the rain). its all about the compound and tire pressure in the dry/grip.

good luck and if you are able to put the 275's on a stock rim, your the man! make sure to post pics cuz I will really want the pics to go along with the 195's on the 10-11 inch rims

 

Well, they are race rubber, I saw the overall diameter specs at Tirerack did not increase at all over the 245/45/16
That is why I wonder if they are specifically built, so they have 275 width buy same height profile as 225/245 over 45/16.
The width requirements are 8" to 10". So they should fit fine on 16x8 wheels.
Anyone with this experience?

Most likely it will look like those 13x8 wheels/tires.

 

You cannot fit 275's in the front without 2.5" ID coilovers. And on a 16" rim, both the 265 and the 275 will rub the trailing arm in the rear. Both the 265 and 275 in race rubber form (read: very stiff sidewalls) will mount on a 8" rim, but barely. They will look like cantilever tires. But I highly doubt that they'll fit without any rubbing issues. For stock rims, 245/45 is as good as it gets.

 

Stick with 245/45/16 as others have said.

Hey Reza, I think you can stick 265s on it but I think 275s is just too much. Ask Andy, he would know.
