not too late at all. Call Mike and find out. And just to clarify this buy was for the collector and expansion chambered front section, not the header. They might still be selling the header.

Well it's the first week of December. I'm so excited. I haven't seen a charge on my card yet. I can't wait until I do though.

Got to be 3" as the mid-pipe section is 3".

I'm assuming that's I.D.

Do you know what the I.D. of the header and front section collector are?

2" OD less wall thickness of probably 14GA (.083") = ID

Yes.

The "front section" is the collector that bolts to the header. Those are 2" OD pipes that go into a 3" muffler/pre-silencer looking thing. The "midpipe" is the 3" mandrel bent exhaust pipe that bolts to the "front section".

I got a call yesterday as well and a charge to my CC. I should have mine by Friday or Monday.

Interesting that none of the exhaust components are on his website anymore, only the header is on there. Guess he took the front section, mid-pipe and muffler off as this is it.

Got it today. Looks like an RB flange, (2) 2" OD pipes into a 3" OD pipe into a 4" bullet type muffler, 4" outlet into a 3" OD pipe.

I'm going to dyno again in January, should be able to compare numbers since my last dyno was just a few months ago. Only other change besides this exhaust section since last dyno is an AWR 3.5" intake tube from TB to AFM. I'm hoping to see at least a 2+ rwhp gain on the dyno for these mods.

Wow. I'm not exactly happy. I've called 4 times in the past 2 days, left messages and nothing yet. No charge, no part nothing. I'm in a rush and I'm just about to call him and tell him not to charge me and to cancel my order.

I just installed the midpipe today with 3" after it to a magnaflow. it's so damn loud I'm going to try and shove a silencer in there somewhere. LOL! But it pulls much much harder above 5k! I need a new tranny cause my power band is from 5k to 8k now and 2nd gear shift into 3rd puts me at 6k. lol!

I used to run just a header, pipe and 3" Magnaflow. I posted some 104DB readings and had to add a presilencer temporarily. The ISC front section will keep the car plenty quiet, it's not loud at all! If you must have a presilencer, I have a 3" stainless universal one from RB, used one weekend. The only problem is the shop that welded the 3" pipe onto it did a cosmetically horrible job. PM if interested.

Your power band really should be about 6-8k+. Put Miata gears in the RX-7 box. That is the 2nd best thing I ever did, the best being a 5.12 R&P.

Which exhaust, then, is best for overall powerband? Just thinking stock GTUs tranny, and having the RPM's drop a bit in second.

The complete ISC setup is supposed to be hands down the best exhaust system. This is what I have been told and read from many of the top cars who have tried several systems.

I have recently learned that the ISC header is the same as the Mazdaspeed header, the only difference being the ISC one is stainless. I've got the Mazdaspeed header and the rest of the ISC exhaust now. Going to the dyno in about 2 weeks...

He has a 12a PP. My 13b has stock ports.

I need to make some new videos, haven't done one in year and have 30 tapes on my desk.
