Sorry about your motor. It looked like you were having a load of fun until that last half lap.

I could not make out your tach in the video. How much RPM were you turning the motor up to?

i usually shift at about 7600 rpm. that motor was pretty weak. after the rebuild its a bit stronger now, but it has yet to see a dyno.

the track is barber motorsports park in alabama. its an awesome place, that was the first time i had been there second session. makes me pretty sad...

it was apex seals. like a dumbass i put in a distributor without the centrifugal advance disabled and set my base timing at 20, 40 degrees of timing after 5k rpm makes apex seals go pop...

Man that sound is crazy.. (I wanted to laugh!) at least no one got hurt. Sounds like an angry 2 stroke motorcycle with bad rings or a holed piston.. But thats was a raw sounding car before the motor went.! Good luck 2 u mang!
