has anyone had problems with microtech the company

has anyone had problems with microtech the company

yes i contacted micro tech to reprogram a computer and my friend was told it would be 200 on the form and when he asked by email if that was correct after asking about a dozen times he got a funny response it's not 200 that price is for customs what they charge is between 250au and 350au ,we all know which one that ones going to be and 65 for return shipping i couldn't believe it so i tried myself same outcome i guess all my friends were right haltechs are the way to go. good luck to my friend he has to pay the piper

Why are you sending it to AU to get programmed? Have a local tuner who knows what he's doing work on it. Or do you mean something different by "program"?

no the computer was made for a nissan and i want to use it on a mazda i need it reprogram or reconfigured to use it on a rotary engine

microtech was always like that. its lame, but its been that way from day 1...

This form doesn't say the repair is $200au, it says that's what to put on the custom form. That number is probably some magic cut off number that prevents delays and additional taxes

The only problem I ever had was with this place http://www.microtech-efi.com/ which is NOT the manufacturer, although it looked that way when I sent an ECU for repair. Make sure to use the website that does NOT have the "-" in it.

doesnt matter who you use, it goes to Microtech the manufacturer and they are **** house!]Micrtoech service jsut about doesnt exist.
this is why you buy a decent ecu. You get better ecu and after sales service.
