Has anyone built an old school rotary sedan into an SM or STS Autocross car.

I am just wondering if anyone has tried to build up an RX-2,3,4 into an STS, SM car. My mind is always bench racing and I have wanted to build something old school for a long time. We have an RX-3 that is fairly quick in CSP locally. I just wanted to know if anyone else has tried to build to these classes. Set-ups and pics would be cool.

I know James Wilson built his FC into a pretty competive STS2 car before he moved on. I would like to see it now with the new crop of ST legal tires favoring larger diameter rims and tires.

I think Tom Ellam won CSP Nationals with a RX-2 in the late 90s.
