GT Wing

Curious on the need for an adjustable front splitter and/or canards when going to a GT wing on the rear of an FD. Car is currently a ‘99 spec and thinking some additional aero could help, especially for spots like the top of the esses at VIR?

My best was a 2:06 at VIR with r-comp Toyos or Nittos to give an idea of where I am currently.

Or for those that know VIR, should I just keep trying to get better with what I have? Of course I’ll do this regardless but thought aero might help.
