Getting Started

Ok first i would like to thank you for any advice you might have for me.

I need help im going to purchase a rx7 with in the next 90 days and i was wondering which model i should purchase? First i want to tell you i want to run 12s possibly a 11 in a 1/4 mile. should i get turbo or not?
i am on a budget but i do have a couple bucks to throw around. Iwant to preform these times the cheapest but safest way possible. but i want to stick with a second generation. please if you can e-mail me at scottb987654@yahoo.com

if you want 12s, you better get a turbo. And you're going to need a LOT of cash.

oh yeah, its all about the money. for the model, i would go for the 93' RX-7 turbo. try to find a new turbo for the car and get the intercooler, BOV, etc. ask around too.

budget and fd should never be in the same sentence unless you are talking about blown budgets.

speed costs money. if you don't have the money, you won't hit 12s. **** you won't even hit 13s. its all a matter of how much $$ you got to throw around. keep reading and check out grassroots motorsports for more info. it will probably get you more info than here.
