Getting back to racing...

Hey guys, new to the forum but I was partners with Susko when he started to develope his set-up. We rented cars in Cendiv and NE div for a couple years till I moved to Florida.(She won) Getting back into racing after selling a couple businesses and I'm building a 2nd gen for EP. Right now I'm helping out with a 2nd gen convert. EP that a friend is running. We just squeezed a fastest lap of the class on the sebring short course last weekend. I guess Florida isn't that bad after all...racing in Jan. and Feb.!! Still more speed left in the car too. Hope I can help out around here. I've already learned some new stuff poking around.

Yep, we made some good changes to the car, still have a long way to go though. He had to coast the last lap because of oil temps. It got up to 280. We already have it apart figuring out the plumbing for more oil cooling. We had a oil to water cooler that Ed had laying around that used to cool a 600 hp small block, no where near enough for a rotory. We are going to two stock oil coolers now unless anybody has any input. We had good results with that set up on a GT3 RX3 in the past.

Ed's car sure is sharp. I wish I had known you were having trouble. I always carry a spare oil cooler with me. It doesn't take mach debris into the oil cooler to ruin a weekend. The twin factory coolers will work. Buddy at Florida Performance does a few mods to them to help them even more. I'm using a big single one and usually see 220's even in the summer here.

Next time you are out, look me up. I'll buy you a beer..

I'll try to figure out how to post a picture or two of his car. I just started laying up my fenders for my coupe. Sharing a shop with Ed I get to use his molds to make my body panels. Do you know if Buddy just does the basic "plug the bypass" mod and open up the holes or does he have some secret voodoo stuff that isn't so obvious?

I'll take you up on that beer, will you be a the next event at Sebring?
We are debating going to the Daytona national
