Fuel Tank Swap

Has anyone swapped 1986-1988 stock fuel tank for the larger 1989-1991 fuel tank? Was it a bolt in? Thanks Tom

^Tru dat; but be advised, the pump hangar/electrical connectors differ between S4 & S5 so you've got to adapt them if you want your gage to register and pump to work. Very doable (especially if you have the harness connector from the S5), but not exactly bolt-in.

Cool, I should get the tank tomorrow and start hanging it. We have re-wired fuel pump and gauge because we stripped out 90% of the factory wiring to save weight.
