FYI, here's a new FRP wing that just won the XP class at the last SCCA ProSolo, over the current class champion. A single element version will be offered for track use. High DF, low drag motorsports profile, 10" chord, 61" or 67" L.

Thanks Rick! in the dual element configuration, do you just use one of the older elements as a flap? or is that new too?

The new upper element is a new 4", and optimized for use with the main 10" element. The production upper element won't be available until July. The older CF and aluminum elements have been discontinued , slight chance of a limited run of the alum foils next year.

We did do a dual 10" for a SSM miata, that was pretty radical.

I saw that car recently. Radical is right, it's pretty wild.

some interesting info regarding apr and kognition wings

http://www.trackhq.com/forums/f295/r...omotions-3788/

someone was telling me about the fudged CFD data earlier today, and i decided to see if i could find anything online about it. didn't have to dig deep.

everyone seems to be on the kognition bandwagon, i'm not sure why because i know all these people can't possibly all own kognition wings. it seems like mike has done a good job establishing a good rep, and it's echoed on forums. there's a couple guys local who have purchased kognition wings and quality did not meet expectations, with no real response/solution from mike.

The max DF @ 80mph was 495lbs in free air.

Hope this helps,
