FD pillowball wear?
I have worn out the upper pillowballs in the uprights in approximately 10,000 miles of daily driving and racing. The pillowballs are tight in the "camber" direction, but you can see the uppers rock a slight amount if you grab the hub and try to rotate it. These things are only 9 months old! The rest of the pillowballs appear to be fine.
Anyone else managed to kill these so quickly? I was ready to write it off as a fluke, but both sides show the same wear. The other 4 bushings are sound at this point.
What gives?

I've heard of them wearing out in as little as 4-5K miles. When I replaced mine, the clunk disappeared for a few months and then came back .... I don't know how much mileage went on them, but it's apparent they don't last for very long. Expensive to replace too ... I just live with the clunk.
