Someone used a gt500 rear caliper and retained parking brake.

Would this help balance further?

Did you ever find anyone with some feedback on the Willwoods?

@jmlude93 runs Wilwood, tracks his car regularly and is a great resource on this topic. Though I'm not sure how frequently he's on here these days.

Sakebomb's summary comparing their Wilwood and AP offerings is accurate, though. The smaller piston diameter Wilwood kit with a higher friction pad in the rear will put you within 2% of factory bias depending on pad choices. Adding a Wilwood PV on top of that will allow for a little more adjustment.

The AP kit with the larger diameter rear rotor along with higher friction rear pads is also within 2% of factory bias. A primary annoyance with either choice is that high friction rear pad options are limited. A bonus here is that you get great thermal capacity.

You can get Stoptechs made to any brake bias you'd like. Also the new Trophy kit weighs 1 lb less for the standard ST40 caliper. You are approaching AP racing cost however.
