Opens fine for me. I am looking for a guide to Chassis lightening for the S4. Being a unibody, I am unsure what can be removed. I am refering to cutting away parts of the chassis beyond the usual doors, glass, dash etc. Being a Turbo, my car is a tank at ~2900 wet. I have not done the usual lightening, but plan on going at it this winter. My car is probably heavier than when I started due to cage, turbo, exhaust, and fuel system. Any help appreciated. I know there are a thousansd threads, I'd just feel better about something from Mazda, considering I am putting some pretty high loads on the chassis. Carl

Yes(150lbs), and 20 gallons of fuel. All I have done to lighten is remove carpet, tar, and front bumper support(to fit FMIC). My turbo system and fuel system are very heavy, and my body work adds weight compared to stock. I am going to start a seperate thread, since this is mainly for the FB boys. I should have talked to Downing at SS8 when I had the chance. In a nut shell expect the lightening of the car to be as radical as safety, and chassis integrity allows. My goal is to drop 200lbs, my dream is to drop 400, but I do not think I can get that done do to being turbo. Carl

Kim -- if you ever make it to the states, I owe you a beer.

Hell, given what I've learned just reading the first 5 pages I may owe you a ride in a racecar!
