fb upper and lower control arms in rear

fb upper and lower control arms in rear

Whats the optimal setup for the upper and lower control arms?
rod ends on the lowers and uppers with super soft bushings?

A lot of threads on this subject, you can go the route you're thinking only if you do something to control the top of the rear end, ie. tri-link.

im planning on a tri link
Didnt know you needed to do the tri link before the control arm mods though.

The Tri-Link takes on the work of the upper control arms. So, if you go with a Tri-Link you will want to modify the upper control at the same time you install it.

Look at what Jim Susco does at G-fForce or at what Paul Yaw has done with the upper control arms.

Optimal setup involves relocating the mounting holes on the rear end housing. Besides going though all that, I would say tri-link it, remove the upper arms, get spherical arms for the lower.
