EGT/Pyrometer Gauge Install
Where can I drill into a stock manifold to install the probes? The Westach guide says 6 inches, but I think they're assuming it's going into a piston engine.
Also, how can you drill through cast iron? I've tried putting one of these on a friend's turbo II right up on the exhaust port, and was unable to get through the cast iron even with carbide bits.
Will an analog gauge react quick enough to see if I'm leaning out in turns due to improperly set floats?
I'd search, but it doesn't work for three letter acronyms.
