Thumbs up discoveryparts.com

Just wanted to share my great experience with discoveryparts.com

I ordered a new tire pressure gauge from them online Friday morning and then Friday afternoon I get a voicemail asking me to call about my order. I don't get a chance to call until after work and figure since they're in GA and I'm in TX I'm not going to find anyone there but go ahead and try. Sure enough I'm completely wrong and the salesperson who left me the message, Ron, answers. I explain that I'm returning his call and he says there is a problem with my order. My internal "uh-oh" goes off and the first thing I suspect is the bank rejected my card due to all the parts I've ordered in the past week

Ron explains that the gauge I ordered is out of stock and back ordered for about 2 weeks. I'm just about to tell him that's fine and I'll wait when he explains I have options! Man, you never hear that anymore do you? When it's out of stock you're usually SOL! Ron explains they have another gauge that is similar and very popular; would I be interested in that one? No, I would prefer the one I ordered instead. He says that's fine but asks if I would consider the (very nice and considerably more expensive gauge I really wanted but wasn't willing to fork over the money for) super nice guage they have in stock for only $7 more than what I was paying for the other one? They will sell me this gauge at their cost (and my gain!) just so I don't have to wait 2 weeks! I jump at the offer and gladly agree to let them charge my card an additional $7. To top it off my new gauge arrived this Monday morning and I just got off the phone with them Friday evening.

I couldn't be happier with them. I'll certainly check them in the future before purchasing elsewhere.

Damon I have had the same great experience with Ron. When I started racing I ordered all the SCCA required gear from him down to the nomex socks. I also had a terrible time with helmet fit. He was so patient with my unusual size/shaped head.

Highly recommended.

I have purchased a few things from Discovery Parts in the past. They sometimes setup a trailer to sell parts out of at some of the South East region events. They have great prices and awsome service.
