I am looking at the one without the track plotting, as it adds ~800.00(1800.00 total). I would then use the GEEZ plotter for that data. Alternately a used one. I think the Mychron with plotting is a little better priced. I also need an AMB transponder, so I am looking for some sort of package that combines the three for a reasonable price. Carl

I haven't heard of the Mychron. Will have to look it up..
I'm considering the basement MXL, the Strada. Priced at $1k. Yes, that track mapping up's the basment price a nice penny.

Which Mychron would you consider? 3 Gold, Light TG or the Auto steering wheel?

Head over to improvedtouring.com and do some reading. This subject had been beat to death over there. Also might want to try the production site or other club racing specific sites.

When I upgrade from Geez! that's more than likely what I'll buy. How long have you had it? Would you share here or PM me your comments and maybe some screen shots? Thanks.

it's pretty nice, the few problems i've had with it race-tech have taken care of quickly. from what i've seen it's by far the best unit for under 1K.

if you want to play with the software here is some sample data. start of a race, spin, and a wreck, lot's of cool stuff to look at:
