does anyone know of any Connecticut based auto cross..."places" (cant think of a better word) and also what would be needed for me to run my street car at the events? i would love to get some track time because i want to become a better driver as im sure all of you can understand! i just have an incredible passion for cars, and seem to learn rather quickly. so any information you might know and could send this

I've run with CART for the past two years. They're a good club and put emphasis on seat time. Their site in Bristol is a bit harsh on suspension due to ruts and cracks in the pavement. I'd recomend making the trip up to Fort Devens in Ayer, MA to run with NER/SCCA or NESCC. They're more student focused and have loaner helmets. They run a much more organized event too.
