Killer auto-x weekend!!!
Took my car to the local auto-x this yesterday.
Brought my girlfriend along so I could try and get her hooked and gave her a few rides.
They set up an extremley fast course just for some fun. I was just barely hit 60mph (which is flat flying for most of the courses that they set up) some of the modified Vets were hitting around 75-80. Kinnda cool.
Well needless to say Got to try out the new Kosei's and BFGoodrich G/force Kd's. I was extremelly impressed with these tires!! I was running within a half second behind the guys runnnig slicks. The only complaint is that my front tires were chunking up very badley. I think I just need camber plates.
I couldent stop the weekend with just 4 runs, ran our afternoon run and got 4 more runs. Had my buddy there with his beater 83 Toyota corolla (He was very surprisengly fast!! with just a little more pratice I think he could be a very completative driver. Gotta give you Props on your driving Josh!!)
And of course that wasent enough auto-x for the weekend so my buddygave my $25 so I could run today. Turned out that an old friend showed up with his 85 GSL-SE. Has Ground control coil overs, and BFGoodrich R!'s. We had a pretty heated battle on the course. Was alot of fun.
But now im home with the last race of the season under my belt, and my girlfriend is going to kill; me cause I havent done anything with the house...
