Car trailer, 16' or 18'

I am in the market to pick up a car trailer for my FD. I have a lead on a 16', any problems with putting the FD on this? Should I try to find a 18'?

I imagine it depends on the trailer.

I have a 16-foot flat steel trailer and my FC fits fine with room to spare. The 18-foot could give you some room ahead of the car if you want to add a trailer box at some point in the future.

The big thing to watch out for is to make sure that the drivers side fender on the trailer is removable and that you have enough height clearance over the trailer tires to open the drivers side door of the car once it's loaded.
