Bendless cage............. (FC)
I have access to a welder, pipe.... But no bender.
Has anyone built a cage using angled cuts unstead of bending pipe? I would like to put a cage behind the seats and into the hatch area.
Just wondering if I am dreaming here.

Dream that could turn into a nightmare if the structure were actually tested in an accident. No sanctioning body in the world would let you near one of their events.
I could bend up a hoop for you out of 1.75x .095 DOM. I doubt they could damage it shipping! The rest you could fit yourself. Oh, I hope you have tube and not pipe...

What jgrewe said above. Although, I doubt shipping those parts would be very cost effective.
Kirk Racing has a pre-bent cage that all you have to do is weld together.
Check around your area for a circle/dirt track supply store. Make a template hoop out of electrical conduit, take it to the fab shop and tell them to bend the 1.75" x .095" DOM to that shape. I have found the fab shop at the circle track store I use is a bargain compared to any road racing or machine shop. I've never had something done for $5, nor why I wait without an appointment. They've been doing a lot of aluminum sheet bending for me lately and every time I leave it's no more than $25 which includes the material!!! They've also notched and bent roll cage tubes for me, heck I even got the DOM from them cheaper than I could find at the metal supply stores.
