Battery relocation and required kill switch?
Does any one know what Auto-X/Road Racing classes or what not require a kill switch for a battery relocation?
I am planning on doing this to my 240 because I will be installing a front mount soon. I also want to start Auto-X but am confused on what racing bodies require a kill switch to be setup.
Also what about the FD? I Was planning to put the battery in the rear bin when I do the front mount but I don't want to be unable to pass tech because of no kill switch.
Thanks guys

Kill Bill Switch Vol #1
In autocrossing, no kill switch is required in any class. It is ok to have one, and most people place it on the cowl in front of the windsheld on the rt side of the car. You must have an ignition switch, but the stock switch is ok in all class's. Get a rule book from SCCA.com if your going to autocross. Its a requirement to have one at the track. Hope this helps, DICK

In drag racing will all tracks require a kill switch (other than the stock ignition/key) for a relocated battery or only for those running under certain ET?
