Any downs sides to replacing all hard brake lines with braided SS lines?

i'm not sure if tihs is the best place to ask but i'll go for it, i was wondering if they were any downsides to swaping out all the hard brake lines with braided SS lines? Like if the extra expansion from the braided line would effect braking alot and stuff like that.

Thanks

why would you want to do this??? it doesnt make much sense to me...

the hard lines will perform better and be more reliable, so why swap them for something not as good?

it's easier to route braided SS lines, and making flares on hard brake lines is probably one of the most difficult things to do correctly.

The Queen's Formula SAE race team uses stainless braided lines through out the whole race car. Ofcrouse this is a little different then an rx7.

why do you need to reroute your lines?

If making flares bothers you (and it does me), there are shops that will preflare lines for you with the appropriate fittings (ours are 10mmx1.0)
I had lines preflared by http://www.ormebros.com/, they shipped them to me, no problem.

Flares are so basic. Just buy some generic hard line and practice double-flaring. You'd be surprised just how basic a flare you need that will be reliable.
