Anyone have experience with JIC race seats?

I know of a shop going out of business and is heavily discounting all of their stock. They have a set of JIC race seats that I really like. Anyone own a pair or have any experience with them?

Only seat I will use is Racetech. JIC sounds like a chinese private label copy of a Sparco/MOMO/Bride/corbeau/etc. I would not trust this seat under any circumstance or for any price. Buy a Race seat that may save your life not one that may get you killed.

jic isn't exactly an ebay knockoff brand.

Check and see if they are FIA certified for competition use. There should be a certification sticker w/ the FIA rule/reg number on it on the seat.

they maybe some "respected" brand for street wanabees but they are not a well known brand of seat that any race team would use in competition. I would not use any of the other seat brands I mentioned except Racetech. Use these products at your own risk. I know what happens when a seat fails on the race track.
