from what ive read on the website, if you can prove your building a car for scca use, you can join before actualy racing

i am now an scca member, i want to rebuild my engine, and possibly tranny in the car i will do all the autoxing and track days in over the winter before i actualy start autox'ing

is that what they mean? or am i pushing it

That's what they mean by 'building'. Call them up and give them all your info and they should get you signed up on the spot.

I have been under the Mazdaspeed membership for building cars. It is not pushing it. Just send in a picture of the work in progress. I have never had problems with my membership just turn in your scca results. Not that big of a deal for the discounts you receive.

Joining the SCCA took me 10min online, so the first ones easy diabolical1


and thanks for the answers to my questions, ill take some more recent pics of the car and send it all in tommorow.

FYI joining mazdaspeed was just as painless as the SCCA. i filled out the online registration, emaied them photo's of my car as it sits now, along with some of what im building for next year because i don thave current race results. the approved me next day
