About to get a Fiat 600, drag car, new to racing!!!!
Hey what's up everyone. Okay well I have about 6 years in the game with rotaries on the street. I have played with everything from a stock port with all the bolt ons to J-bridge engines with weber fuel injection and microtech and wolf standalones. I have my feet wet but definitely am always learning something new.
Well now I'm about at the end of the road with what I can do on the streets so I'm taking it to the track now. The quarter mile track to be exact. I might be getting a Fiat 600 drag car with full roll cage from a buddy, I'm still undecided. Its a mid engine rear wheel drive vehicle and is wearing some 12x26x14 inch slicks out back, skinnies in the front. Right now the car is bare, no wires, not even brakes. It just has chassis, roll cage, tranny, wheels, steering, and a fiberglass front end and that's it. It has no windows right now either.
the way it sits right now, as described, it weighs about 500-600 pounds.
It had a rotary engine in it with the last owner before my buddy got it.
I need to get some wheelie bars if I do in fact get this car and run it along with a lot of other things. I have done some research on these cars and have seen many/most say that they are unstable at higher speeds, over about 100mph, so I would rather go with an all otor setup.
I need some suggestions from some of you that have done the quarter mile thing.
Has anyone run a Volkswagen beetle with a rotary as a drag car or anything similar to a fiat 600.
Let me know what kind of setups are out there for this as I will be doing my own research to. Any links would also be appreciated.

I'm asking it here since the majority of my question is what kind of all motor "rotary" setup can I run. I am looing for others who have run rotary drag cars. Not just "fiats". So i figure this is a better than any place to start asking questions.
