I am in need of some expert advise. I am interested in doing a Miata LSD torsen swap in my 84 SE. I have the 3.9 ring and pinion and wanted to know if there`s any difference in diameter and spline from the 94-97 miata torsen LSD to that of the 2004 Mazdaspeed torsen LSD.

I just want to use the 3.9 ring and pinion with the 2005 Mazdaspeed torsen LSD and the 84 SE axles.

Can you confirm if this setup would work?

If not, what is your best reccommendation?

I thought of doing that, but since I am running higher power levels, I upgrated to the OS-Giken unit.

 

Andre, did that combo work? I'm in the same boat with my se. Your knowledge would be greatly appreciated
