Putting cross drilled rotors on is the last thing you should do to fix fade problems. In fact by reducing the mass of the rotor you will cause the brakes to fade faster.

But what if you run air ducting from the front? I understand that reducing mass is bad, but by getting fast flowing air running to the brake and set up so it blowing into the side of the rotor and into and by the holes, wouldent this cool more eftiently in a road racing application?


Also someone mentioned earlier about an upgrade for people who still want to use 13 inch wheel. Does any one know of a kit or conversion? I have an rx3 and i can drill the backing plates of rx7s to get the front brakes to work, the rx3 weighs in at abou 1900 but the car will likely see around 140 down the front streight at SIR so i want some good brakes.
