13b sump interchangable?

I've a BREW with a stock but damaged sump in a offroad race buggy. (non stock location, no crossmember). I'm looking at running the Moroso sump to increase oil capacity and reduce pickup issues. I wondered if the earlier 13b sumps fit the BREW.

i can only confirm that the bolt pattern at both the front and rear are different from the older engines. i can't comment on or detail any adaptations because i've never had the need to try.

You could redrill/adapt a steel pan easily enough, but an alloy one would be trickier.

Imagine my consternation when I discovered that you have to use an FC front cover with an FC oil pan. The FC cover is significantly shorter, to the point that the pan is the same overall length as a 12A pan!

It's running a 12a cover so it should be a 12a early 13b sump. Still looking for an ali pan to dissipate a bit of heat and allow me to place some baffles easily.
I gather the Moroso is on the cards (however it's not o ringed). Any other sumps I should consider?
