Honestly it has never seen asphalt with this turbo. It is a purpose built road race car, but should be capable of low 11s@ 120 something. The standing mile should be interesting though.

12" Hoosiers on 1st gen

We are running 16X11.5X23.5 on a first gen. on Real Racing 16 x 12" Aluminum 3-piece wheels. They fit actually pretty easy, and do look badass with the flare kit.
The fronts required cutting the box frame, actually a 12" recess into it, then recapping it and rewelding to regain the strength. Also coilovers, which are a lot more compact than the stock macphersons. And lots of love with the grinder to the stock body and flares both front and rear. the rears fit with small spacer and paying attention to backspacing when ordering. Also, make sure to run good studs. We run 1/2" Moroso aircraft studs.
And still wonder why with the twin disc clutch, which is like a switch, with 24" of rubber we now snap axles, diffs, driveshafts, trannys, etc.
It is kinda hard to see the setup in the pic, but you get idea. Have fun.

I would switch to an ACT Extreme PP, with a 6 puck bronze disc for ~350rwhp, and above. For less than 350, I would use an organic disc. These combos are very slippable, and you should not be breaking anything. I do not know exactly what is involved , but a TII diff will stand up to all this no problem. I plan on Chromemoly axles for mine, but mainly will watch my driving style. Regards, Carl

I agree that driving style has a lot do with it. When we first put the 12s on we were trying to launch it like the 13X8 hossiers DOTs. Who knew 4" more width and more dia. full soft hoosier slicks would have had more grip? But now after two trannys, tow diff gear sets, and a couple of dirveshafts u-joints, learned to ease up on the launches and now are pretty good with parts.
I would like to see if the tilton made an organic for the Tilton twin disc setup. But the reason for the clutch pack was the reduced diameter. IIRC, about a third of moment of inertia with the 5 1/4" clutch pack, along with a 3 lb flywheel, if that is what you want to call it. Thing revs like a sport bike now. Awesome engine braking, and improved shifting. Of course until you get used to it, you will look like a 16 year old in his first manual car until you learn to ease it out. That and the whole rear axle being heim jointed, not the easiest car in the pits. people look at you funny when you are trying to move like 30 feet and have to rev it to about 3k to ease it out enough. lol

Cheers,
Travis
