Purchased a wiring harness off him on the 26th of February, he said he would ship on the 27th.

No word from him despite my several attempts.

I was wondering if anyone can vouch for him or if they have a number to reach him at? He is always idle on AIM, and never responds.

I know him, I see him every once in awhile at the socal7's monthly meeting at ricky and ronnies.He is in RPV, has a FD painted honda Si blue correct?

 

I'm "pretty" sure he purchased parts off me in the past. It was a very smooth transaction and no problems from either side. Hope that helps.

Sounds like a bunch of bs to me... it could have happened... but how many friends know what an FD wiring harness is... or what it's worth.

Either way I just want my harness or my money back... he said the harness had 10k miles on it... so i am hoping to get what I paid for.

I've been provided with his phone number (which he never answers) and his address. So if worse comes to worse, I'll pay him a visit. SoCal isn't too far from me and I've had to do things like this in the past.

I had PM'd a couple times in regards to photos of the harness, but never heard back so I just moved on.

I am going to give his local PD a call tomorrow to report it. It's internet fraud, and you can be charged with all kinds of crap.

All he has to do is pick up his phone and call. Anyway, I am going to run it by the police and see what advice they can give.

I just called his mother, told her the story. She's going to investigate and get back to me.

 

I spoke with Chandler.

I am expecting a call from him tomorrow after he ships the harness. Apparently a friend of his stole a bunch of his parts (not just the harness) - but he said he has recovered all of them. Hopefully all goes well tomorrow and all of this can be resolved. I am glad he got a hold of me and I appreciate all the help.

All this could have been avoided from the get-go by answering his calls or his attempts in having contact with you. I would have thought the same exact thing he thought, that the money was long gone or you were probably selling something you didn't have.

How is anyone supposed to believe someone over the internet, especially if they know nothing about them?

Put yourself in his situation (not knowing what type of person he is or if he just didn't answer calls/PM's, etc.) and tell me if you wouldn't have done the same.

You did wrong, he posted about the transaction. Live, learn and move on and don't call anyone "******* TRASH" for YOUR mistakes.

Well Chandler, when I had asked your so-called mother (Barbara) if she had a son named Chandler, she said, "Yes."

Then I explained my situation and then she got a hold of you, 5 minutes later you were sending me a message on AIM.

I did however receive the tracking number, which I appreciate. But no reason for you to get upset. The whole purpose of this post was to get in contact with you, and with the help of other forum members I was able to do so with a little research.

I was going to have this topic closed after I had posted that you had sent the harness and it seemed everything was going well, but I guess it's to late for me to make good of this thread since you've already put a bad mark on yourself.

I'll let you know when I receive the harness, and I hope it is what you had advertised. I've taken enough from from no-good sellers on the forum and it's sad that anyone has to go through a few hoops just to trust somebody.

As far as I am concerned, I am fine with our business being near over. I should have the harness tomorrow and will let you know from there.

The thread will not be deleted. The mods decide to leave things like these in the section for future reference, however it can be closed so nobody else posts in it, once again.. that is up to the mods.

Anyway, aside from the rude *** comments you made earlier I'd like to let everyone else know that Chandler was prompt and easy to speak with WHEN we were in contact. I had explained the situation to him and he was polite about it and took care of it has he said he would. Of course it is hard to judge character over AIM, but nevertheless he said he would have it out the following day and he did. I would have appreciated a call or e-mail to let me know someone jacked your parts... and at that time I would have requested a refund and bought a new one.

Anyway, I'll try to get a hold of you tomorrow or perhaps Friday to give you the word on the harness.
