Need advice: Bad dealing with member
I have found this Board to be wonderful on questions, help and advice.
So I am asking for some advice. I've been on the Board a couple months after buying my first RX-7 ('84GS) and had great experiences and have bought parts from several members. In late December I purchased a "clean, like new" rear tail light assembly from a fellow Board member which to date I have never received!!!! First it was on it's way, then "his back was bothering him" and he had to wait for meds. Now for the past two weeks I haven't had a reply even though he's been on the Board! This is nothing short of criminal in my eyes. It's been 6 weeks!
I know you are wondering why I haven't named him in the Bad business section.
However, this member has THOUSANDS of posts and has helped many people. I hate to hurt his reputation but at this point I think he is trying to steal $100 from me.
I asked a fellow respected member to PM but never heard back on that.
ADVICE is welcome. What would you do?????? -sorry for long post

Send him a kind PM, letting him know that if you do not receive your parts or your money back, you will be contacting his local authorities to open an investigation about the crime he has committed - internet fraud. Also that you will be contacting the IC3, which is in partnership with the FBI in prosecuting and settling online fraud.
People tend to respond very quickly after that.

dispute
I did, after the fact. He had one dispute with a member about a year ago and it looked like a complicated matter. Mine is pretty straight forward. Thanks for the advice.

Three members PM'd me and said that this described someone they knew of to a "T"
All three where exactly right on who it was. Now my Dilemma is do I post his name on the "bad guys" buyers list? Again it's too bad because he has posted thousands of times and helped many people.
