I've spent about 10 grand with him over the last couple of years...always get everything pretty much when promised plus or minus 3 or 4 days, except when there is a customs delay.

IF it's a rotor or a rotor housing 89+ turbo FC parts are pretty much the same as FD parts and they can be mixed and matched.

FC rotor is the same as an FD rotor if the FC rotor is 89-91 turbo. Only very experienced people (like myself) can even tell the difference, and it is a casting difference only. Weight and compression ratio are identical. I have mixed and matched many an FC/FD rotor.

As for the weight codes, they are not absolute either. Weigh the rotor he sent you and also weigh your other rotor on a digital scale. If they are within about 0.10lb of each other then they are fine to use together. Seriously, it's not that big a deal. I have seen D's that weighed more than C's even though it should be the opposite, so again the weight codes are not exact or absolute. It represents a range, not an exact number, and those ranges can overlap. A C and an E would probably not be an issue.

Thanks Kevin, I have tried to explain all of this to this guy a few times now yet I dont think he understands..

This is why I just CANT do business with NEWBIES... They dont even research before they start saying/claiming that someone has done something wrong to them..

BSTORM

Send me all the parts back and I will simply send you a refund... this is just stupid...You are making claims that are not even true....

I am done with this...Let me know when to expect the parts back

A full refund is no problem for me but the parts will have to come back 1ST, no exceptions... If you think I am going to refund payment before the parts are back in my possesion, you are mistaken

Send the parts back and get your refund.. This is stupidity...You start a thread, demand a refund, I say yes, now you dont want a refund????

Its always the same with you newbies...

Send the parts back and I will refund ALL of the money you paid me... You said you could find the parts locally....

Or follow thru with the threat you sent me thru PM : Attempt to ruin my reputation here on the rx7club and report me to my local police....

threats........ more stupidity

Someone sounds full of **** here. Who could it be, the guy who's been selling on here for years with a great reputation, or the guy with almost no posts who wants a refund because he got the parts he asked for, while he holds the parts.

I have been waiting for the rotor to come back.. I see no reason to send back two seperate refunds. Once the rotor is back I will Issue a FULL refund for the housing and the rotor... I have agreed to this over and over and over again... You want a refund then send the damn parts back.....very simple..

bstorm...do you have a reading comprehension problem or some other disability we should be aware of? Let me restate the facts for you:

1) 89-95 9.0:1 rotors are THE SAME THING and can be mixed and matched with no issues. IF you asked for a 93-95 and were sent an 89-91, you got the correct part. This is like ordering apex seals for a 93 engine and being mad because the part number on them also fits 86-91.

2) Rotorhousings from 89-95 can be swapped around without issues as well. There may be small casting differences depending on exact models involved but it is nothing to get bent out of shape about.

Just use the freaking parts and stop bitching. You won't find any in better condition.

Kevin, I told him this 10 times already... Says his engine builder says the part is incorrect, which you and I and every other person on this site knows is B.S. Earlier, when he was talking real crazy, saying he would send ALL of the parts back and wanted a refund, I agreed.. Seems he doesnt want to send me the new Apex seals I gave him a great deal on back, nor the FREE S4 Na rotor housing I sent him.. Yes, I gave this guys a free pair of rotor housings that are useable...

There is a saying for this: " No good deed goes unpunished"

He still going on and on about this when I have agreed to take the parts back and give him a full refund.. Now only wants a refund for the rotor housing and wants to return the rotor he says is the wrong part, which is not true.. The housing is already in my hands as I used UPS Delivery intercept, and the rotor has yet to be returned to me..

A refund is no problem for me, but the parts must be back in my hands 1St. He actually was demading a refund before even returning the parts.. I am clearly not going to go for that...

I guess we will see if the rotor ever gets shipped back....
And dont forget, I gave him free parts.....I should ask for those back now.. just to be a DICK.. but I am not going to....
