Any body know this forum member? anybody else done any kind of business transaction with this person?

I recently just did a purchase from him...He told me that he had a gsl-se rear end that had a conversion spacer to convert the 4 lug to 5 lug...I said cool, im looking for a gsl-se rear end...

During pm's i asked many many times if he was 100% sure it was a gsl-se rear, i even asked again several times while looked at the rear end in his storage, loading it up on my truck and i was handing him the money...

He told me that if there were any problems he would take care of it...

Well come to find out it is not a gsl-se rear end...The original 4 bolt patter is that of 12a first gen 1981-1983 gsl that has the smaller axles on them...I even test fitted my gsl-se rims on them and the bolt patter does not fit...

I got in contact with him once or twice but it is one excuse after another...This issue is going on one month now!!! For the past two weeks i only have gotten one text from him...

I told him that if i sold the adapters that i would be fine with him paying the remaining balance...Well i sold the adapter to another forum member, I told Jose aka hose4dub that i sold the adapters and i told him what the remaining balance was due...

I only bought the rear end for $150 i only want to him to pay the other half, at this piont i don't care i just want my money and give him his rear end back...

Anybody know of him...I currently have his address, his phone number, email, and forum info...

I would hate to take this small claims to collect the $75 dollars he owes me cuz in the end he will be paying twice the amount he sold the rear end to me...

 

He texted me today, stating he was going to call me as soon as he got off work... but never did...Jan 4 2011

 

Still no returned phone call...Has till sunday...this is going on a month and one week...When monday comes around i will be making or starting a bad guy thread, and i really don't want to...

Currently seeking advice from a mod to guide me as to what actions i should take...

I'm also parting out this rear end...If im able to get my money back that way, then i will leave the subject alone, creat a bad guy therad and be done with the issue...If not then im going another route with this...

Too much drama Teddy, worst than Jerry Springer show. I still cant believe that you flaked out a week after we made a deal. You just don't get the issues that I went through to get the parts that you asked for....time/labor, hard-earned cash and my other parts as a finder's fee.

 

well, it seems Teddy is taking responsibility/doing the right thing as I got a several voice messages and PMs today.

Aside from that im creating a bad guy thread for hose4dub, thanks for screwing me over on the wrong part, gave you plenty of time, but eh enough is enough.

I will be posting pics of the parts you claimed were gsl-se parts vs the parts i have that ARE gsl-se parts...

 

its a done deal. Teddy came by and got the parts. so he is cool in my book.

 

I never was going to leave you hanging bro...not my style just been dealing with alot and this jack *** hose4dub...but it is what it is...

 

I was the other forum member who received the adapters. I can personally confirm that they are 4x110 to 5x114.3. The adapters came off a GSL rear end.

Teddy also went out of his way to double check the bolt patterns twice for me before shipping. The entire transaction was silky smooth, great communication, etc.

Hose4Dub advertised this as a GSL-SE, and he owes Teddy some cash and an apology.
Otherwise, I believe a perma-ban is in order. Ripping off another forum member should not be tolerated.

Hose4Dub was last active on the 27th, which means he is still here. Perhaps someone could direct his attention this way? Mods?

Hey teddy, can you pm me this guys email or phone number? Paid him 3 weeks ago for an item and never heard a word from him since. And he hasn't logged in since 2 days after i paid him, that day he wrote to me saying he was going to ship the item. I wanna see whats up and if hes going to send it or if i need to just file a paypal claim.
