Feedback on Drama
Do not do business with Drama. Email/PayPal ID is dlshearer@hotmail.com.
I purchased (4) AFMs from Drama for $20/each. I sent him a payment of $80 via PayPal. Drama eventually shipped only 1 of the 4 AFMs, and promised a $60 refund for the others. 2 months later, and guess what, no refund. Just many broken promises and plenty of excuses.
Be warned: Do not do business with Drama. He stole $60 from me, but maybe he'll get more from you.

Why is it that you guys never learn? Why do you allow **** to go on for months? You get a date from the seller as to when they will ship and how. Then you get a tracking number. If the stuff does not show up in a week tops from the time it has been shipped then you do some digging. If there is no evidence of shipping then you nail the person to the wall. Request a refund and do business with someone that has morals!
I sorry to be so harsh but you guys that accept excuses and wait forever are just asking to be scammed.

That's really one of the dumbest posts I've seen on a public fourm. I didn't accept excuses, nor was I looking to be scammed. Frankly, I was powerless in the situation. How exactly do you "nail a person to the wall"? All you can do is request a refund. All the seller (aka thief) has to do is say no! Or even say yes (like Drama did) and never deliver on their promise (again, like Drama did).
The fact that you'd find fault with the victim of a scam, and not the scammer, says much about you. I'd like to add a second just for you. That way you and Drama don't have to share.

You did not cover your *** by doing the simple little things. So let me refresh them for you.
1). Ask when the product will go out
2). Ask for a tracking # on that day the person states the product will go out
Those above 2 things should tell you right off the bat whether you are going to have a good or a bad transaction.
If the person states that it is going out in 2 days and a week later you don't have a tracking number then the red flag should go up.
At that time you should be leary about the transaction. Usually what happens from the seller is a bunch of lame *** excuses that are just stall tactics. That person is usually going to tell you what you want to hear.
If at the 2nd request for shipping the person can't give you a date and tracking number than it's time to start the request for a refund.
Not when the time period has expired and paypal no longer allows a claim to be filed.
I'm very sympathetic to people getting scammed on this forum and it enrages me to see it happen. But what enrages me more is the buyer not taking pre-cautions to ensure that they will get what they have paid for.
I recommend you re-read what the forum moderators/owners have put about doing business on the forum and about what requirements are to be fullfilled if a dispute arises.

I get it just fine. You didn't give any solid ways to "cover yourself."
I did everything I could to protect myself. Drama was responsive at first. I don't think you get it. A seller gives you his word as a man, and so you pay him. If the seller doesn't come through with the transaction, that doesn't mean that the right questions weren't asked by the buyer. It means the seller is a liar and a thief.
I initiated a paypal dispute before the deadline. Apparently it prompted Drama to send me an explicative laden PM on this forum. I then initiated a claim on the final day of the dispute. I was not awarded the claim because Drama sent 1 of 4 items. Had Drama sent 0 of 4 items, they would have judged in my favor. However, receiving a lower quantity than ordered is considered by paypal to be a dispute over the quality of the item, and paypal does not offer buyer protection of quality disputes outside of ebay. Basically, I got fucked.
Also, the funds that paid Drama came out my paypal account balance. I wish I had a $0 paypal balance and charged the items. Then I could have initiated a claim with the credit card company, but that's not how it worked out.
Keep ranting idiotically. I don't care; it brings the thread back to the top so everyone can see that Drama is a liar and a thief.

I'm glad you don't get it because I can keep explaining it and others will see the post and know what to do when they have a transaction.
Heres some more things that you can do. Request pictures of the product.
Get the person's full name, work and home telephone if you have to. See if they have a ebay account you can review and if they are a paypal verified member.
I know that nothing is foolproof but be cautious if you feel uneasy about the transaction.
The only real gurantees in life are death and taxes and even taxes you can get out of.
Remember Miata Turbo, I am on your side.

yeah, I have purchased 2 things from drama, one of which was very rare and took me a while to find. No problems at all, sorry to hear about your trouble. I guess, as with any feedback system, a few negatives can ruin all your positives.. good luck

Drama: Good Guy
Today, out of the blue, I received a money order from Drama. It was a refund for the $60 that he owed me, as well as a letter explaining his side of the story.
Thank you Drama. I apologize for my part in this misunderstanding, and am glad that things are getting better for you. Good luck with your new career.
Moderator, would you please lock this thread?

So would you guys rather I just edit the thread title to something more positive? Locking it won't do anything, as thread is viewable. But seeing as drama has resolved those issues...what do you want me to do?
What would you like the thread title to say?
