Pro efi with stock fuel, ignition system, and stock twins

Hello everyone! I wanted to give everyone an update on my current project. I just rebuilt my 13b. I popped a coolant seal and decided to pull her apart. Engine is now back together and have decided to finally put in my pro efi. Everything on the motor is 100% bone stock. I will be having Larry from sound performance tune this for me. If any of you know Larry, he is the genius behind all the high horsepower cars at sound performance. Yes they mainly do Supras. But he is making a ONE TIME ONLY EXCEPTION for me. I'm very interested in seeing the potential of our stock systems with the help of the pro efi. It will be about a week before my clutch comes in and then the motor will go back in and i shall begin the break-in process. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. and if anyone is looking for any specific information, let me know. With the help from Larry, I should be able to answer anything and everything you may have to ask.

Stay tuned for updates!!!

James

I will be running oil temp, oil pressure. fuel pressure. map sensor. and oem AIT sensor. all of the sensors are proefi sensors. i will be running the can display to monitor all activity as much as possible. i will also have a dedicated laptop in car to log pretty much everything.

I was going to go with the gm IAT but I decided to try to keep this as stock as possible. Eventually I will be going single with E85. but for now I will be using as many stock components as possible for information purposes. Once I track down a trans, I will be a little more ready to rock. But as of right now my first gear is blown and the car will remain un-driven until the trans is replaced.

UPDATE::

I have a new trans in the car and have about 250 miles on the clutch so far. As soon as I hit 500 miles, the car will be going on the rollers at sound performance so I can get a good driving tune on the car. Since at this time I am in limp mode, diving the car at 5% throttle is getting to be annoying. not much longer though!!!

stay tuned for more and thank you for reading

New update

So the car is finally at 500 miles on the new clutch. I will be working with larry from sound performance soon to double check my wiring and make sure all is good to go. I am hoping within the next week the car will be on the rollers for a healthy driving tune. Stay tuned!

New update!!

So after double triple checking everything, I finally took the first step. The fd now idles on a proefi!! Scheduling conflicts make it very difficult to get anything done. But it is a start. I will be sharing a few findings and videos soon. It's just a relief to hear my baby brap on her own
