I have one you can have for free with stock fueling, its running fine on my setup if not a little rich. Just need to log the cells from the handcontroller though which I have been meaning to do for a while now.

That said cewrx7r1 is probably a better map but probably running more on the limits.. Depends if you are feeling brave and how much you want to push the limits on someone elses map which is never a great idea. How much boost you want to run. Not sure what boost cewrx7r1 was running on his map.

cewrx7r1 - If this offer was an open offer for $75 + tuning notes, I would be interersted to compare and try (with Caution) ? What boost / injectors was you running on this map, and did you ever get a power run on this map. ?

Hi, I am now running 0.8bar boost on a very cold night and about 0.78 in normal temps. AFR is 10.8 at the top and know I could pull a little more fueling and will in time once a get a dry day and some clear roads, but the map I will fire over will be as it stands now(i.e a little rich). I am seeing a maximum knock count of 30, which generally only occurs on light throttle. Its quiet as a mouse on full song.!

Will send my map over, but it is very close to David Iconberg map on this website.http://opus.bloomcounty.org/~patrick/pfc/

Powerwise I have not have it on the dyno yet, but its pulling like a car that feels at least 300rwhp. I can only judge this coming from a dynoed 370bhp/370ft/lb torque scoob, A mitsi Evo5 with 346bhp, VX220turbo stage2 with 220bhp, cosworth with 336bhp.

It will be going on the rollers in the new year, but will tweak and pull some more fuel in the new year fist to get the fueling to about 11.3afr, and will likely push the boost even more on stock fueling. And take the injector duty into the 90's rather than the recommended 85%. Current boost its hitting 85% Max.

p.s Having looked at my map and logged it all now, is not only VERY close to David Iconberg map, but also very close to the base map(with mods version). Basically a VERY good place to start. My fueling is pretty much the as the same the base map with mods apart from a slighty more fuel on mine at the top, but as said previously mine is running rich.

Timing is pretty much the same as well.

To be honest and I have seen it before, if you took your car for a tune its very possible they will charge you the earth, change a few cells for the sake of changing them, give it all the chats about better pull a degree of timing here etc, etc, and they take lots of money for the previlage.

Tuners on a clients car won't push the limits and will also go on the side of safe with timing and fuel, and I now think the base map with mods would be very close to what you would get it you paid your hard earned.

A good tuner will be able to get more from your car by running it on the edge, but only if there is an understanding between client and tuner.

Conclusion...... The base map with mods version is a good map considering its out the box. The base map you get with a scooby for instance is pretty sh*t, but not the case with the RX7. Personally I would say get yourself a wideband which is a good thing to have anyway circa $300 which is what a tune will probably cost you, and pull the fueling yourself and have fun doing it. Either that loose perhaps 10-20hp and have safe fueling and don't do anything with nothing more than reasonable comfort that your are safe.

If you running stock boost and want more power just up the boost on this base mod map and you should be fine.
